Thanks to S&N's short lead times and 100% delivery reliability, the partnership has expanded, and Ljungby has transitioned to exclusively using drive shafts manufactured by S&N. Ljungby Maskin’s buyer, Carina Nilsson, states that Ljungby Maskin is very satisfied with S&N as a supplier. S&N's flexible production allows for customization of various drive shaft models.

The insulation and ventilation of the heritage building's old copper roof required renewal, whereby the old copper roof was recycled and the new roof was constructed as a traditional machine-seamed roof. UTM Pelti Oy's Pekka Kernisalo explains that the roof installation required several different copper materials, all of which were immediately available at S&N Metal's pick-up warehouse. Materials are ordered directly to the roof as the project progresses, Pekka explains, adding that the central location of S&N Metal's pick-up warehouse is an absolute advantage, as materials cannot be left standing at the construction site.

HANZA is an international contract manufacturer that in Finland primarily serves manufacturers of mobile work machines. S&N Oy supplies HANZA with Dirak locking products, which are mainly used in battery cabinets manufactured by HANZA, where Dirak's high-quality locking and hinge solutions, certified for industrial environments, ensure safe and reliable opening and closing. HANZA's buyer Pekka Rautiainen appreciates that S&N Oy's representatives, as Dirak's authorised distributor in Finland, have strong knowledge of the technical characteristics of Dirak products. Puro Textile Care Services Oy is Finland's leading expert in healthcare textile care. The laundry uses district heating energy and the facility has an extensive piping system, where heat loss increases heating energy costs. Heat loss also raises indoor temperatures, which requires efficient ventilation equipment. The cooperation between Puro and S&N Oy began when S&N introduced CTP, a new innovative insulation solution, to Puro. Puro Textile Care Services' maintenance manager Thomas Lauth praises that, based on S&N's strong industry expertise, mineral wool insulation on piping, valves, connections and flanges has been systematically replaced with CTP.

Machining professional Joensuu CNC-Machining Oy has trusted S&N Oy as a bearing supplier for nearly ten years. Aleksi Tahvanainen, purchasing engineer at CNC-Machining, part of EFM Group, explains that S&N's delivery reliability has been one hundred percent without exception. Nordautomation Oy, founded in 1991, is a company specialised in project deliveries for the wood processing industry and a market leader in log handling technology. You may encounter Avant loaders almost anywhere in the world due to the fact that Avant Tecno has manufactured more than 80,000 small loaders since 1991. “S&N has been Avant Tecno’s partner for over 25 years,” says Avant Tecno’s Purchasing Manager Raul Tsili. The high-quality components and professional production ensure the long service life of the loaders. S&N has been the official importer of COBO Group, a leading manufacturer of cab components, for years now. “Avant’s sales have multiplied during the partnership, and S&N now supplies a variety of items for loaders,” Tsili describes.

Established in 1944, Sacometal is the largest bronze foundry and machine shop in Finland and an important part of the Finnish subcontracting chain for machine production because it can independently manage the entire supply chain from raw materials to finished components. Sacometal manufacturs bronze bearings and self-lubricating slide bearings in sizes and shapes customised to the needs of the customer. S&N Oy has been a partner to Sacometal since 2011. S&N provides Sacometal with the ROCOL Metalflo 2064 hot forging lubricant, which is an important part of the production process of the slide bearings. Sacometal Production designer Jari Aarnio says that Metalflo 2064 is the icing on the cake for Sacometal’s production. S&N stores at least a month’s supply of the critical lubricant, which ensures availability and prevents production interruptions.

Jujo Thermal Oy is a company that produces specialty papers in Kauttua, Western Finland. The mill manufacturers thermal and coated papers for labels, tickets and receipts. Jujo Thermal is one of the world's leading manufacturers of thermal paper and the only company of its kind in the Nordic countries. S&N Cardan has been the maintenance and repair partner for Jujo Thermal’s paper machine cardan shafts for years. The long outages caused by sudden cardan shaft failures can be avoided through anticipatory condition monitoring, which involves the paper mill maintenance staff inspecting the shafts regularly.

Ponsse Oyj is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of forest machines designed for the cut-to-length method. The company is still situated in Vieremä in the same location in which it was established in 1970. The cooperation between S&N Oy and Ponsse began towards the end of the 1970s, and S&N currently supplies all of the cardan shafts that Ponsse needs in its production. Ponsse´s Procurement Manager Tiina Haapalainen says that one of the preconditions for the long partnership has been the ability of S&N’s production to respond to Ponsse’s increasing cardan shaft needs over the years. According to Haapalalinen, Ponsse focuses on the line production of forest machines that are customised for specific customers, which means that the number of variations is high. This also requires a lot of S&N’s product development. At present, S&N supplies thousands of cardan shafts each year for Ponsse’s production activities.
