LJUNGBY MASKIN: 100% DELIVERY RELIABILITY EVEN ACROSS THE BAY

Over the past 30 years, Ljungby Maskin has delivered over 4,500 wheel loaders from its factory in Ljungby to satisfied customers across Northern Europe. Ljungby's custom-made wheel loaders are designed to withstand long and demanding use, ensuring the highest possible safety and comfort for operators.

Continuous product development and close customer collaboration form the foundation of Ljungby Maskin’s flexibility and quick response capabilities in integrating design solutions. With its strong industry expertise, S&N has been supplying custom-designed drive shafts to Ljungby for two years. Ljungby Maskin’s buyer, Carina Nilsson, states that Ljungby Maskin is very satisfied with S&N as a supplier. S&N's flexible production allows for customization of various drive shaft models; for example, Ljungby’s orders include shafts of different lengths, with two different types and three different series for various machine sizes.

S&N Cardan drive shafts are mainly manufactured from Dana original parts and tubes made from an alloy suited to the application. The shafts are finished with Rocol Saphire 2 grease, balanced, and painted. S&N also manages the logistics of the drive shafts. “S&N Cardan’s shafts are always of high quality,” praises Nilsson, adding that S&N Cardan’s delivery reliability is consistently excellent. The shafts are properly palletized for transport and delivered with the customer’s freight service. For ease of installation and maintenance, the drive shafts are labeled with both S&N’s and Ljungby Maskin’s product codes.

Thanks to S&N’s short lead times and 100% delivery reliability, the partnership has expanded, and Ljungby has transitioned to exclusively using drive shafts manufactured by S&N. Ljungby places orders in batches of twenty, with a delivery time of 4–8 weeks, though shafts can be expedited if necessary. Ljungby plans orders based on its own production needs, enabling S&N to quickly adapt to order changes and keep necessary parts in stock. Regular communication and forecasts ensure delivery reliability and maintain customer satisfaction.
